Treat yo self Tuesday cause relaxing on weekends isn’t a thing in the life of a photographer! Found @mavenskinandbeauty on Instagram and had to visit this adorable space. Totally worth the 45 minute drive from Fresno!
Rooftops + sunsets + people super in love = my jam.
These two made my job so easy. Excited to implement some new directing and posing techniques into my sessions after learning from @laurenscotti yesterday! In LA today and tomorrow for @laurenscotti’s workshop! I think it’s important to keep learning, keep growing, and to take the time to spark a little creativity and inspiration in busy seasons. So excited to learn from one of the best! And staying at an Airbnb walking distance from @thebutchersdaughter_official definitely means I’m there.
Another Monday, another busy week ahead. Going in with the mindset that it’s going to be a good one! Tonight I’m having @basic.bougie.bridget, the beauty in this photo, over for some rosè and apps, and later this week I’m going to a @laurenscotti workshop! I’m so excited to jump start a little more inspiration and creativity in my life! What are you looking forward to this week?
Sometimes being a business owner is hard. Like this week when two clients decided to cancel or “go a different direction” on the same day. It’s hard to separate myself from feeling not good enough or wondering what I did wrong but I have to remind myself that my success or failure as a photographer doesn’t define me. In fact, because a client cancelled I got to spend the whole day in Yosemite with my family and brother visiting from Ohio who I hadn’t seen in almost 5 years. Sometimes I just need to take a step back and put into perspective what is really important and matters most!
