Ok so I'm no health guru, but 2017 has been a year of a healthier lifestyle for me. If you've been watching my insta stories you probably have noticed I post a lot about food! 🤤I have been mostly (emphasis on mostly cause ya know sometimes ramen and tacos just call my name) paleo for the past six months and now my husband and I are trying to go plant based. That combined with consistent exercise from @ride54studio classes has me feelin real good. I actually have been enjoying the challenge of finding new recipes and products that support our healthier lifestyle. It's totally my personality to get obsessed over things (in jr. high it was Lord of the Rings haha) and I think this lifestyle change has been a good hobby for me to have that's completely separate from photography/work. This smoothie bowl has been my go to every morning before spin. I used to just drink it out of a glass, but putting it in a bowl makes me eat it slower and I can also put delicious toppings on it! Base: Frozen blueberries, frozen kale, frozen banana, frozen cauliflower, almond butter, almond milk, @sunpotion cordyceps & reishi powder (those two are totally optional), chia seeds, & hemp seeds. Topping: @thecoconutcult coconut yogurt, @paleonola granola, blueberries, & coconut chips. MMM!
When you're on a solo trip to a cute hotel with amazing light, you put your camera on a tripod and take a self timer photo twirling in your new @targetstyle jumpsuit, obviously.
A brunch reception? Yep. Count me in!
A hip hotel, McConnell's Ice Cream, an Airstream, the beach, the Mural Room, walking down State Street in Bridal attire and popping in Restoration Hardware, plant walls, and brunch were just a few things yesterday's elopement entailed. Mindy and Cameron wanted to make it official before moving to Connecticut together next week and they did it in the most super fun Santa Barbara way! My photographer heart is full!
Never met a plant wall I didn't like.
